SMEs’ Internationalization Strategy in Export Creative Industry: Case Study from Kendang Djembe Creators at Blitar, East Java, Indonesia

This study aims to: (a) describe the internationalization strategy of SMEs in export-oriented creative industry Kendang Djembe, Blitar, (b) identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threaths process industries SMEs, especially Djembe East Java. Indonesia. The approach used this is a SWOT analysis with an internal-external matrix (IFAS & EFAS) to 4 which are 10 key informants exportir Blitar. results show that Creative Industry Blitar have good strengths improving their international processes. Based on internal external factors, these growth position (in caution condition). Thus, suitable be developed SO, ST, WO WT strategy, are: adding online marketing networks (or other collectors), diversifying products beyond main product, optimizing role associations related product delivery cooperation, technology skills through training or independently learning lobbying government regarding ease export policies conditions.
